Hayley and Ben’s Wedding at Mottram Hall

Some days you just get that great light that sits in the right place at the right time. A time which also coincides with a handsome couple standing in the right spot. I guess this kind of light is the holy grail for many photographers. You can only ever work with what’s in front of you with a few gentle persuasive nudges in the right direction 😉 But when it comes down to it it’s not the epic light and fancy portraits that stand the test of time and represent the wedding. It’s the other in between images that get into the essence of the wedding itself and together paint a fuller picture of the day and truly represent the people involved. As a Mottram Hall Wedding Photographer I was lucky enough to photograph a couple who gave me a lot to photograph and a venue that provided a magnificent frame for a lovely couple.

Hayley, her Mum and bridesmaids got ready at Mottram Hall and then traveled to St. Vincent’s church in Altrincham, Manchester for the ceremony. I was lucky enough to have my friend and fellow professional wedding photographer Frank along to provide a different point of view of the key moments of the day.

I really loved shooting at Mottram Hall. The rooms are big and bright, there are windows everywhere and the grounds are stunning, front and back! The sun sets over the golf course at the front of the building which itself is an elegant sight in itself.
