Hargate Hall Wedding Photography – A Humanist Ceremony

Hargate Hall Wedding Photography – Anna and Mark

The marriage of Anna and Mark was my first chance at a bit of Hargate Hall Wedding Photography. Their Humanist nuptials took place indoors and the reception spilled out into the grounds and the marquee where the speeches took place. After the giant Jager train and first dance, Hargate Hall played host the disco to end all discos. You’ll see what I mean if you take a look at the photos at the end of this post! A big shout out to Tabby and Simon from Mode For Events for their company and help on the big.

Derbyshire wedding photography with less fuss and more fun.

Humanist ceremonies are much more about the love between two people and are performed in a way that’s completely personal, sincere and honest. Anna and Mark had already tied the knot with an official civil ceremony last year but wanted to mark the occasion with a more personal celebration with their family and friends. So they opted not to worry about the traditions and frills of a typical British wedding and instead went for a more informal day which was a great celebration enjoyed by all. Not least their son who you’ll see in many of the photographs below.

A Humanist Wedding at Hargate Hall,  and the party of the year

As soon as I picked up my camera in the morning I was in my element. The light was great and the crowd was lively. The wedding was full of fun and emotion and the sun was still shining when the bride and groom followed closely by the best man, ushers and bridesmaids let the crowd out to enjoy the weather and congratulate the happy couple. Speeches took place in the marquee and there was enough time to set up a massive Jager train before the party back inside the hall. Hargate Hall Wedding Photography was proving to be something special and it didn’t stop there. There was a super crazy photobooth provided by Sally from Smileomatic photo booths and by all accounts, the dancing went on until the sun came up.

Congratulations to all involved on a great day. Here are a handful of my personal favourite images.
